*Remember Me?*

Have I been a blog slacker or what? Ever since we have been staying with my mom, I have been taking advantage of her swimming pool quite often. Em & I have been waking up, having breakfast, and out to the pool we go. By the time we come in for lunch, its nap for for Em and while she is napping I get in the shower and get ready and then I'm off to work til 11pm(ish). This new schedule leaves very little time for blogging, you see. Your probably waiting for Disney pics huh? Well, I am going to post a link with all of them so you can check them out if you'd like. I actually didnt take as many as I had hoped but we just got so busy doing our thing and I didnt feel like lugging my camera around the parks. It was hot as hell the entire time we were there and soooo crowded. Next time we make a Disney trip, it will NOT be during the summer. LOL But other than the extreme heat and insane amount of people, we had a great time. I think Em was a little too young still to really enjoy it so we will definately be taking her back in a few years. We took her on 'Its A Small World' (my faaaav.) and the Teacup ride (which almost made me puke). And we did get lucky and get a picture with Mickey, though Emma was too scared to stand with him alone.

So, lets see what else is new... my job is going GREAT. I really love it and I am making great money for it not even being season here. I'm working 4 days a week usually and am able to have any days off I need. Like this weekend is Emilee's 21st birthday so I am taking off Saturday & Sunday and we are heading over to Ft. Lauderdale for the night to celebrate her 21st the proper way (drinksss & dancinggg!) It will be a fabulous time! I have been soo excited for this weekend! And I found the most perfect dress ever (off e-bay!) and got the prettiest jewelry & superrrr cute shoes! Eeee! I cant wait! I'll definately have some pictures for you when I get back.

Well, my time here is being cut short, Em is bringing crackers to me so its time to get her some breakfast. I hope to be a little more regular with my blogging so check back soon. : )

In just a few hours we will be heading out for a three hour drive to Orlando International Airport to pick up Lauren and Maddie and then following her parents & sister (+friends) to the hotel for our six day stay and tons of Disney World adventures! *I am now a...*

working member of society!!

Yes, you read that right. I got a job. A real J-O-B! I am working P/T as a waitress at a sushi bar which is awesome because: I LOVE sushi, I use to work at a sushi bar before so I already know everything and dont need any training, and I work for the same sushi chef that I worked for before which is great because he is a super awesome boss and fun to work with. I am not quite sure of my schedule yet, I'm trying to figure something logical out. I would ideally like to work four shifts. They are closed Mondays and I have yoga Tuesday and Thursday nights which I really dont want to have to give up soooo... I definately want to work Wednesday and Friday nights and I was thinking about doing two lunch shifts.. maybe Tuesday and Sunday? Anyways, last night was my first night (and the second night they were open) and I only took a few tables so I could get use to the computer (which is completely different from the other sushi bar I worked at) and I still came home with $40... and I would have made more but we aren't aloud to charge for any alcohol until after the 18th of June (when they get their liquor license, or something like that?) so I served at least 6 beers and 2 sakes that I didn't get tipped on, so I cant wait til the 18th! lol But I LOVE working there, I was so sad when I had to quit my job at the other sushi bar (because they got new mangement and the place went to shit and my $20 paychecks were bouncing!) and the place is BRAND NEW and very nice inside. So I'm happy to be getting out and making some money-- which will be nice to have when we go to Disney next weekend. weeeee! Andddd I wore my new Crocs [in black] that happened to come in the mail yesterday afternoon and they were SOOOO comfortable. After being on my feet all night, they didnt hurt ONE bit. I highly recommend them for anyone who is on their feet for any duration of time. : )

*Tuesday Ramblings*

So yesterday I typed up this uber-long entry and it got erased when I was uploading pictures so now I'm scared to type something too long or upload too many pictures. Hmph.  Anyways, lets see... my day started off by Emma coming into bed with me and falling back asleep, which I love, no problem there.. until she starts moving in her sleep and SLAMS her head into my nose. Like, square on with all her weight. I was half asleep and that woke me RIGHT up. I still have this pain shooting up into my head from the top of my nose. Yeeeouch!

Oh, I forgot.. since I haven't been blogging regular I have a little update of sorts to share with you. We have moved in with my mom. Its a temporary thing...until my (deceased) great grandfathers house is finished being renovated and we can move in there (end of August, hopefully). So, we are staying with my mom so we can save up some money. We are saving a minimum of $300/month in gas alone by staying here since now the hubby is only about 5 miles from work. We also turned off our cable/internet/phone which is saving us another $200ish/month. So at least $500 of saving already going on and then add in groceries. Sweeeeeeet! We are in the process of cleaning out our house and put it on the market (which is really sucking here) in hopes to sell it ASAP so we can pay off our debt and everything will be good! Living with my mom has been... well, interesting, to say the least. Now there are NINE people living here and lets just say there is never a dull moment. LOL Its been nice having childcare whenever I need it since my grandparents live here too..and they are LOVING IT. I have to lock our bedroom door after the hubby leaves for work in the morning to keep my grandma from trying to come in and wake Em up! LOL And theres always food. Lots and lots of food.. you know thats a plus! And they have a pool, so we have been spending a lot of time in there, Em loves it.

Last night we ate some of our wedding cake that we saved. I was actually really surprised that it tasted as well as it did. I was scared it was going to be all dried out and hard, but that wasnt the case. It was semi-moist and the buttercream was still amazing. I took a few pictures to share.

*Happy 1st Anniversary*

(I had this super long entry typed up and it froze sooo.. this will be the shortened version! Sorry!)

Well, we never ended up at The Ritz. We got a call Friday morning from the hubbys cousin saying it was completely booked. We ended up making the best of the weekend, regardless of how bummed out I was. Friday night we ended up going out for sushi at Pings and then went to see Knocked Up (so, so funny!). Saturday we re-read all of our wedding cards and looked through our (three) wedding albums. Sunday, which was our actual anniversary, we went out for luch, then to the beach, and then out for dinner (sushi, again!). I got THE most BEAUTIFUL anniversary ring. He really outdid himself this year. Check out this beauty..

I'm in LOVE. Definately kicks my gifts ass (Guitar Hero II.. I swear he really wanted it!). LOL

will I drink a cup of coffee [with two spoons of sugar] at 10pm. N E V E R.

Holy crap! I was wiiiiiiiiide awake, practically bouncing off the walls ALL night. I didnt even attempt sleep until 2am and I tossed and turned all night. I would fall in and out of sleep until I finally got up at 10am. I was miserable and I'm sure I will pay the consequences today. I even had yoga last night which [as always] kicked my ass. Usually after yoga I am ready to pass out and I sleep like a baby. Well, not after a cup 'o Joe! I have learned my lesson. The funny thing is, I said to my father in law last night [who also had coffee] "isn't this going to keep you up all night?" -- I dont know WHAT I was thinking [obviously I wasnt]. Coffee never wakes me up like that in the morning, I just drink it because I love the taste... Lesson learned.

Emma cuteness..

• She has this {the english version though} Leap Frog stuffed animal that plays music when you push the buttons on its belly.. I think it plays like five or six nursery rhymes and she pushes the buttons until she gets to her favorite songs and skips the rest. She LOVES "If your happy and you know it" .. she stands up, dances around the room, and claps her hands. It is SOO cute! Her other two favorites are "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider" ..the rest she just skips through.

• We have been trying to teach her to count 1, 2, 3. If you say "one.." she will say "twooooo" and if you say, "one, two.. " she will yell "TEEEEE!" .. but we have yet to get her to say "one, two, three" all on her own. One day, she picked up two of her B's (binky/pacifer) and came over to me and said "two!" -- I couldnt believe it! I was so proud of her!! Now she does this all the time.. but only with two of her "B's" .. lol

• The hubby was playing around with her the other day and taught her this little 'routine' ... he tells her "clap your hands, stomp your feet, shake your butt, say hooray!" .. and after each command, she does them. And at the end, she throws her hands in the air and screams "HUUUURAAAAYYYYYY!" --its adorable!  : )

In other {exciting} news.. I dyed my hair black! I was soo needing a change and I just happened to have a box of black hair dye sitting under my sink so I thought 'what the hell!' ...and I actually really like it. I was worried at first, you know.. such a drastic change, my skin is on the pale side.. but I think it looks good, {well besides the black dye that stained my forehead and my neck}... It brings out my eyes. I did it myself {about an hour before I had to walk out the door to yoga} and realized I missed a little spot in the back/underneath so I am going to have the hubby touch it up for me this week. I'll try to get some pictures today.. I always have a hard time taking pics of myself.. at my last nail appt I had my nails painted black.. my little brother-in-law asked if I was turning gothic.. haaa ;  )

I never got around to going to the library or anywhere besides yoga for that matter so today I need to go to the library and return Suzannes Diary to Nicholas... awesome, awesome book! Totally recommend it to ANYONE! Its by James Patterson. I ended up reading it cover to cover in one sitting on Saturday because I couldnt put it down. So today I need to pick up a new read. I really want to get Shopaholic Ties the Knot because its next up in the series, but I dont think our library has it so I might have to wait til I go to my moms tomorrow to get it from her library. I also have to go to the store, probably WalMart, for a new litter box.. I need to get the one with the lid because Annie is making a huge mess with the litter everywhere. We also need cat food and I need to pick up some fruit. And I need to call my insurance company about our homeowners insurance.. they are dropping everyone in Florida so I found a new policy with AAA, I have everything set.. the appointment is tomorrow @ 1:30 to go in, sign the papers and pay the $1k... and then I get a call from my old agent saying she wants to see if she can do better with a new company she is working for. I called her THREE weeks ago and told her I was switching providers and NOW, one day before I switch, she wants to see if she can work on something? How annoying.

Well, I guess thats it for today. Its already 11:15 and I havent even had breakfast yet so I need to get my arse in gear. Happy Wednesday! : )

*T - 16 Days*

until our first wedding anniversary! I can't hardly believe it. Last year this time I was running around like a headless chicken making sure all my little details were going to pan out. We have a very special anniversary weekend celebration planned out and I am sooo excited. I dont really know the details because the hubby wants to surprise me but I do know we are staying THREE nights at The Ritz Carlton!!!!! I am SO excited. The Ritz is only like THE nicest hotel around AND its right on the water and just.. BEAUTIFUL and perfect for the occasion. I actually stayed there the night of my senior prom and it wasnt nearly romantic and very little time was spent at the hotel so I am really really really looking forward to this time with my husband. I have the perfect outfit picked out for the night of our anniversary (Sunday) when we go to dinner. I have three gift ideas in mind for him but I still cant decide if any of them are the perfect gift or not. I cant say what they are juuuust incase he reads this blog, although I dont believe he does but still, better safe than sorry. : )

Tonight we have to go pick up my uncle's friend.. actually its his ex-wife but its a really confusing/boring story that I will spare you but we have to go pick her up from the airport tonight and we are less than thrilled. The airport is a little over an hour away and the plane lands at 730, so that pretty much kills our night. I'm still miffed at my mom for pawning this job off to us. Hmph. Then tomorrow we are going over the final menu plans for my grandmas surprise 70th birthday party on Sunday! I just called and ordered the cake.. marble cake filled with fresh strawberries, buttercream frosting and some pretty flowers on top! I hope she likes it! I still havent bought her a gift, I really have no idea what to get her. Maybe just some flowers? She really doesnt NEED anything and I cant think of anything she wants either... we just got her a digital camera and printer for Mothers Day. A gift certificate for a mani/pedi is always nice, but she goes to the same place I do.. a long time family friend who does them for free so I nixed that idea. I hate shopping for other people.. I'm horrible at picking 'the perfect gift' .. oh well. I'll think of something.

The hubby is getting off work early today (yay for the boss aka my dad being on vacation!). We are going out to lunch when he gets home.. lunch outtings are a particular fav of mine. Maybe we will hit up the mall after and look for a bday gift.. now theres an idea.

Anyways. I need to go figure out what I am going to do with our area rug that our dog decided to pee ALL OVER and now my entire living room reeks of dog urine. SUPER. Any ideas would be WONDERFUL (besides killing the dog, I've already thought about that.. )

OH! And Emma has learned to actually learned how to say "please" in a way that you actually understand what she means. It sounds more like "Peas" --- but much better than "Meeeh" which was her word of choice for 'please' : )
